  • Top 5 Reasons Why Your Website Needs Legal Terms
You’ve seen those links at the bottom of your favorite web pages – Privacy Policy, Terms of Use — and wondered if you really need to include them on your website.  And (admit it . . .) you’ve wondered why you can’t simply copy these provisions from your favorite site or your competitor’s pages.  First off,...
  • Mass Data Privacy: Round 2
If your company has employees or customers in Massachusetts you are likely (hopefully) aware of the requirements of 201 CMR 17.00, the regulations enacted in September 2008 to protect consumers’ personal information.  After an initial wave of publicity, companies large and small put in place their Written Information Security Plan (“WISP”) – and promptly filed it...

Who We Are
feature_about

West Hill was founded on the simple premise that your business needs lawyers that understand and care about your business and its success. Seems simple enough, but in our experience, other lawyers don’t always deliver. They’ve never worked in your industry and therefore don’t understand the day-to-day challenges you face. The college to law school to large law firm track may qualify them to deal with any “bet the company” problems you may face. But, unfortunately, the legal fees these lawyers charge make you dread picking up the phone to request a quick contract review – the exact thing you need to keep you out of trouble in the first place!

This is where West Hill comes in. Our clients report that they actually enjoy calling us. We are upbeat, efficient and, over time, become just another member of the team. There are no automatic ¼ hour billing entries every time we think about your company. Instead, we are focused on creating value for your business with every entry on an invoice. Refreshing, don’t you think?
